Scarisbrick Hall College
YEARS 9-11

"Every pupil at Scarisbrick Hall is valued for who they are. Whether they become one of our Oxbridge candidates, or successfully achieve a much-strived-for pass grade in end of year exams, you can be confident that he or she will have been stretched and supported to meet their full academic potential. “

At Scarisbrick Hall School we have a passion to make sure that every pupil becomes all that they can be. Our unique curricular and co-curricular programme encourages students to develop leadership skills, academic achievement,  work as a team, as well as their overall well-being. During Year 8 all pupils will have selected their GCSE options with pupils normally taking between 8 and 11 subjects.

Pupils in the College are encouraged to have a mature approach to their studies and receive the support and guidance they need to become independent learners and thinkers. All of the teaching and learning in the College underpins our RIVER learning philosophy by encouraging: Resilience, Independence, Valuing every individual, promoting a spirit of Exploration and encouraging Reflection. For more information about our philosophy of learning please click here.

Parents and pupils are informed of their progress formally every half term and receive clear guidance on how to progress. Our pupils also benefit from our unique relationships with leading academics from the highest ranked universities across the UK and beyond.

Consistently high Academic Achievement

Scarisbrick Hall School pupils consistently score outstanding GCSE results. Over the past five years the overall pass rate has been above 96% with the largest proportion of grades being at A*/A. Pupils have gained national recognition for their achievement as well as gaining exceptional offers for places beyond the school. As a school that is not purely academically selective, we are exceptionally proud of the added value that our school provides.
