Middle School Curriculum
Scarisbrick Hall Middle School encompasses academic Years 5 to 8. In Years 5 and 6, pupils at our Middle School study a range of subjects far beyond the standard national curriculum. Our specialist teachers deliver subjects in far greater detail than earlier years and aim to build upon the foundations of their education.
Students in Years 5 and 6 undertake the unique Middle School Passport. This enables our students to develop a wide variety of academic and social skills. The Middle School Passport aims to highlight the activities students have taken part in outside of school, along with any certificates and awards they have received. The unique Scarisbrick Hall Middle School passport leads our students to the Middle School Diploma in Years 7 and 8.
What is the Middle School Diploma?
The Middle School Diploma is a progressive award that starts in Year 7 and has been created to allow our students to independently learn and to recognise their progress in all aspects of school life. This Diploma is designed to provide our students with the independent and collaborative learning skills they need for their College career.
