Scarisbrick Hall Middle School
"Our unique Middle School Curriculum supports pupils during this transitionary period in their education. Subjects are studied in greater depth with specialist subject teachers leading all aspects of the curriculum from Year 5. Pupils enjoy more freedom and independence, where the benefits of our bespoke academic curriculum are bolstered by the School’s excellent pastoral care. Within Middle School, extra-curricular activities are enhanced through our Beyond The Classroom programme allowing pupils to either further develop current skills or explore new and exciting opportunities."
The curriculum in Year 5 and 6 takes pupils on a journey far beyond the standard national curriculum, with an emphasis on depth of understanding across a range of subjects.
In Years 7 and 8 pupils build and extend their knowledge in preparation for GCSE study.
Sporting activities are an essential part of life at Scarisbrick Hall School. There is a strong emphasis on sporting excellence. However, children of all abilities have the opportunity to participate, progress and experience competition.
