How to apply for Sixth Form at Scarisbrick Hall School
Admission to the Sixth Form at Scarisbrick Hall School follows the same multi-step process as all our admissions. We invite prospective students and their family to initially speak to Mrs Walmsley, our Head of Admissions, who will answer any questions you may have and arrange a personal tour of the school. Alternatively, we also offer Open Day events on a Saturday morning. If you’d like to book, please visit our bookings page.
Following your tour of the School, we will invite your child to join us for two taster days with their Sixth Form peers. Over the course of the two days, your son or daughter will undertake entry assessments and will also take part in lessons and activities with their potential classmates. They will be expected to attend wearing their current school uniform and should bring a PE kit to take part in extracurricular activities and PE lessons.
As part of the application process, we will also ask you for the most recent copy of your child’s school report. For overseas candidates, we can arrange for assessments to be taken in your country of residence. Following the taster days, and at the end of the second day, you will be invited to meet with the Headmaster, Mr Shaw. He will discuss your child’s assessments with you and provide feedback on their taster days with us.
