Choosing a nursery for your child

When the time comes to return to work after having your baby, you will want to find the very best childcare provider. There are lots of different options available to new parents, such as childminders, family members and nurseries. Here at Scarisbrick Hall School we like to think we have created a unique mixture of the above at our home from home day nursery, Beautiful Beginnings.

With a friendly, professional greeting at the door every morning, our priority is to build a rapport with all children and their families, leaving you safe in the knowledge that your child will be well cared for once you make that important decision to start your little one at nursery.

An inspirational and attentive private day nursery

Beautiful Beginnings is set in over 50 acres of woodland grounds, giving the children at our nursery the time and space to ignite their curiosity. Our ethos, Education in Harmony with Nature, is embedded in everything that we do, and our Outdoor Learning Environment is truly exceptional.

Our experienced team of early years practitioners work tirelessly to ensure that a reciprocal relationship between our Nursery and home is facilitated from the very beginning of your child's journey with us. Our home from home environment helps your little one to settle quickly, allowing them to play and learn in comfort. We pride ourselves on our flexibility, meaning your child’s day at our Nursery will complement your home routines, meeting each child’s individual needs.

We have a number of different rooms depending on the age of your child: Ducklings, which is for babies who can attend from birth; Starlings, which is perfect for babies who have found their feet; Skylarks, for younger toddlers and Kingfishers, which gets our children ready for the transition to Pre School.

A Pre School creating firm foundations for your child’s educational journey

We are proud to deliver a truly independent Pre School education to children aged 3 and 4. The facilities and environment are designed and furnished in complete compliance with the EYFS (and Welfare Standards) Statutory framework and will give your child the very best foundation to develop a love and passion for learning.

Our team of Pre School practitioners are qualified to an Early Years Professional level, ensuring that the individual needs of all children are met. As an independent Pre School, we are able to enrich education outside of the standard Early Years Framework through the creation of a holistic learning approach, allowing our children to be actively engaged in a safe and secure environment.

Our passion for outdoor learning continues throughout Pre School and beyond. We have several specialist teachers who encourage the children to explore the world around them through child-led, hands-on experiences. Our stunning outdoor learning environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s learning and development, which we nurture by expanding on their inquisitive nature.
