About the role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Theatre Technician to join the team at Oak Theatre & Studios on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced theatre professional looking for a stable role within a busy, creative and welcoming venue. Working closely with the Theatre Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our varied programme of productions and events to life, supporting lighting, sound, staging and the day-to-day technical operation of the theatre.
From professional touring productions and live music to school performances and special events, no two days are quite the same.
What we're looking for:
Experience working within a theatre, live performance or events environment.
Strong working knowledge of lighting, sound and stage equipment.
A practical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with the theatre programme.
