Pre School

Bespoke education for children aged 3-4

Here at Scarisbrick Hall School, we are proud to deliver a truly independent Pre School education to children aged 3 and 4. Our Pre School facilities and environment are designed and furnished in complete compliance with the EYFS (and Welfare Standards) Statutory framework. We have also taken every effort to ensure that the needs and interests of each individual child in our care are met.

Dedicated and experienced Pre School Staff

Our team of practitioners are qualified to an Early Years Professional level, ensuring that the individual needs of all children are met at our independent Pre School. We are able to enrich education outside of the standard Early Years Framework, through the creation of a holistic learning environment allowing both children and adults to be actively engaged in a safe and secure environment.

Through continuous observations and interactions with children, staff plan engaging activities to enhance the children’s interests and next steps of their learning. Observations are then used to inform planning to provide children with activities and experiences.

Set within 50 acres, our Outdoor Learning Environment includes our Forest School with several specialist teachers who enable the children to explore the world around them through child-led, hands-on experiences. Our enabling environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s learning and development, we nurture this by expanding on their inquisitive nature.

In addition, children within Pre School at Scarisbrick Hall School also benefit from our specialist teaching in PE, Music and Spanish.

Early Years Academia

Incorporated into the day, Pre School children have a daily focus on Communication and Language with Literacy playing an important role when preparing children for formal schooling. The classroom is enriched with text, sentences and meaningful written language so that they begin to make connections between spoken and written communication.

Pastoral Provision During Pre School

As an independent Pre School, we are able to enrich education outside of the standard national curriculum. This allows us to also care for our children through independent and interactive learning.

Sports Life

Here at Scarisbrick Hall School we encourage our children to enjoy and participate in sport from an early age. Our Pre School children benefit from their own dedicated PE teacher who aids their physical development by encouraging them in sport and activities.

Performing Arts Life

Our Pre School children enjoy performing arts from an early age with our dedicated music teacher. Parents can enjoy watching our children participate in our Christmas performances as well as the much anticipated end of year Pre School Graduation.
