Performing arts are at the very heart of life here at Scarisbrick Hall School. This is why our performing arts department has gone from strength to strength in recent years. We offer dance, drama and music lessons to all of our students from First School to Sixth Form, whilst also offering Saturday Skills classes to the wider community.
Dance
Dance is a powerful and expressive extracurricular class that encourages our students to develop their creative, physical, emotional and intellectual capacity. Dance is taught from First School to Sixth Form. Throughout this time, our students gain a greater understanding of dance and performance techniques. Our extracurricular activities focus on ballet, contemporary, lyrical and jazz.
Drama
Drama is a highly expressive subject that encourages our students to develop their creative, physical, emotional and intellectual capacity. Studying drama as an extracurricular class encourages the development of emotional maturity, giving our students an opportunity to understand themselves, and others in the world around them whilst focusing on public speaking, planning and problem solving.
Music
Music is an integral part of the curriculum at Scarisbrick Hall School. We believe that music has a profound impact upon a child’s early development and supports learning across all other subject areas. We aim to encourage an enjoyment of music from the earlier age whilst simultaneously nurturing listening and communication skills, language acquisition and creativity. Music is a core part of our extracurricular activities.
Sports
