Scarisbrick Hall School celebrates academic success

At Scarisbrick Hall School we practice a RIVER Learning Method that encompasses Resilience, Independence, Values, Exploration and Reflection. This method is utilised throughout the school and ensures that all pupils are performing to a high standard of learning.

In 2022 pupils at Scarisbrick Hall School achieved exceptional grades across both A Level and GCSE.

In their A Levels, our Sixth Form pupils achieved an outstanding pass rate of 100%, with 93% of the grades being between A*- B. We are incredibly proud that these results reflect the hard work and determination displayed by our pupils and members of staff, alongside the high academic standard that we strive for at Scarisbrick Hall School. These results also ensure that Scarisbrick Hall Sixth Form remains within the Top 10 Sixth Forms nationally for progress and value added.

After sitting their first examinations since the pandemic, our Year 11 pupils also achieved an extraordinarily high standard of results. With an overall pass rate of 98%, the majority of grades achieved by our pupils were 9/8 (A*). 60% of pupils at Scarisbrick Hall School achieved grades between 9-7 (A*/A) with over 75% of the grades achieved being between 7-6 (A*-B).

Headmaster Mr Shaw said “We are incredibly proud of this cohort of young people. They have worked hard and demonstrated a huge amount of determination and drive. I was delighted to see how they supported each other as well as their co-curricular achievements (which were substantial at national level). Well done to all!”

These results ensure that our pupils are prepared for future studies, which many have chosen to continue with here at Scarisbrick Hall School in our Sixth Form to ensure their standard and quality of learning continues.

At Scarisbrick Hall School we strive to ensure that our pupils are set in good stead for their future studies and life beyond. We are incredibly proud of those who have sat examinations this year and achieved such exceptional results.
