Performing Arts Development

At Scarisbrick Hall School we strive to provide our students with the best grounds and facilities in order to further their education and exploration.

Performing Arts is an integral part of learning at Scarisbrick Hall School, and is a key component of our River Learning Philosophy. Our Performing Arts curriculum and Beyond The Classroom Co-Curricular activities develops pupils’ confidence, creativity and communication.

We have been working hard to expand our Performing Arts Program by developing a new Performing Arts Centre.

The Centre is on track for completion towards the beginning of this year and will be home to a new Dance Studio, Drama Studio, Arts Studio, Practice Rooms, Music Rooms, Recording Studio and Media Editing Suite.

Head of Performing Arts Mr Chapman said “The new Performing Arts block will provide the highest of standard facilities for our students, the professional level studios will enhance the learning of students from First School right through to the Sixth Form.  The new Drama Studio, Dance Studio, Music Studio, Recording Studio, Multimedia Suite and Practice Rooms will allow us to expand Performing Arts and ensure our students have the very best in facilities to match the high standard of teaching we already provide.  I am very excited for the opportunities we will be able to offer students and I hope you will be able to visit the new block when it is ready and see the truly exceptional resources we will have.”

Further to our Performing Arts Centre, we are currently developing The Auditorium which we anticipate will be completed this Spring and will hold many of our events including awards ceremonies and performances.
